How do I return an item?

At Solar Power Store, your satisfaction is our top priority. If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, we’re here to guide you through a simple, hassle-free return process.

Step 1: Check if your item is eligible for return
To qualify for a return, your item must:

  • Be returned within 30 days of the delivery date

  • Be unused and in the same condition as received

  • Be in its original packaging, with all tags and accessories included

Step 2: Request a Return Authorization
Contact our Customer Support team at hello@solarpowerstore.ca or 1-888-421-5354. Please include your order number and a brief reason for the return.

Step 3: Receive return instructions
Once your return is approved, we’ll send you a Return Authorization Form along with detailed instructions. A prepaid shipping label may be provided if applicable.

Step 4: Package your return

  • Use secure packaging to protect the item during transit

  • Include all components, accessories, and original boxes

  • Add a copy of the signed Return Authorization Form inside the package

Note: Missing components may result in a denied or partial refund.

Step 5: Ship your item back

  • Use the provided shipping label, or your own if preferred

  • Unless due to a Solar Power Store error, return shipping costs are your responsibility

Step 6: Inspection and confirmation
Once your item is received, our team will inspect it to confirm eligibility. We’ll notify you when the return has been processed.


How do refunds work?

We understand returns can be inconvenient. Our goal is to make the refund process quick and straightforward.

Refund eligibility
You are eligible for a refund if the item:

  • Is returned within 30 days

  • Is unused, in original condition, and includes all original packaging and components

Refund processing time

  • Refunds are typically issued within 7–10 business days after inspection

  • Timing may vary depending on your bank or payment provider

Refund method

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout

Partial refunds

  • Items showing signs of use, damage, or missing parts may receive a partial refund or be ineligible

Non-refundable items

  • Custom wire cuts, special order items, and any items marked non-refundable are not eligible for returns or refunds
