Why can’t I ship my order to a PO Box?

At Solar Power Store, we're committed to ensuring your order is delivered safely, securely, and on time. To help us meet this standard, we do not ship freight orders to PO Box addresses. Here's why this policy exists, and what alternative options are available.

Why Freight Can’t Be Delivered to PO Boxes

While we can ship smaller parcel items to PO Boxes, freight shipments (such as large, heavy, or palletized products) require a physical street address. This is because freight carriers:

  • Require someone to receive or sign for the delivery
  • Operate with trucks and equipment that cannot access PO Boxes
  • Often need to contact the receiver for delivery coordination

 How This Affects Your Order

If your order includes freight items and your shipping address is a PO Box, delivery cannot be completed and may result in delays or returned shipments.

What You Can Do

To ensure smooth delivery, we kindly ask that you provide a physical street address at checkout. If you do not have one available, we can also ship your order to the nearest freight depot for pickup.

Here are your options:

  • A valid home or business address
  • A trusted friend or family member’s address
  • A freight depot near your location for pickup (we’ll help you find one)
  • A local delivery/pickup service (if available in your area)

If you’ve already placed an order using a PO Box, please contact our support team right away. We’ll update your shipping information and, if needed, arrange shipment to a nearby depot to help avoid any delays.
