Updating the firmware on your LuxPower inverter via local connection helps ensure your device runs smoothly with the latest features and fixes. This guide explains how to download and update the firmware using your phone and a dongle connection.
Important:
Make sure your app version is up to date — at least version 1.9.3 for iOS or 2.9.8 for Android. Also, confirm your phone has a stable network connection. You do not need to log in to an account to perform the update.
Part 1: Download Firmware via App

Tap the icon to enter the firmware download page.

Select and download the firmware that matches your device model (e.g., LXP-LB-8-12K).

Tap DOWNLOAD to begin downloading the firmware.

A green check mark indicates the firmware is enabled and ready to use.
Part 2: Update Firmware via Local Connection

Connect your phone to the inverter using a dongle.

Tap CONNECT DEVICE AND UPDATE to start the update process for both the DSP and app firmware.

Tap UPDATE FIRMWARE and keep the app open on this page.

The DSP firmware will transfer from your phone to the inverter, taking about 5 minutes.

After transfer, the inverter will automatically update and reboot within about 10 minutes.

Once the inverter reboots, the app firmware will transfer, taking around 5 minutes.

The inverter will update again and finish within a few seconds.

When you see the “update firmware successfully” message on your phone, the firmware upgrade is complete.
